There are lots of choices. There is new construction, re-sales, and developments with lots ready-to-build. Sort of like the story of The Three Bears - three choices. Some are overpriced (my opinion), some priced right, and some priced where a negotiated agreement will bring a good price. The choices are many!
As a buyer choose a real estate agent who knows your specific target area. Remember, sellers pay the buyer agent's professional fee - not the buyer!
If you like a home and it is over priced you may problems closing the deal. Why?
Because if you are getting a mortgage the property will have to appraise at the sales price. A lender is simply not going to "give" a loan for an inflated price.
