Buyers (and Sellers) - optimistic yet realistic

Many buyers wonder if the offer they just had accepted would have been accepted were it even lower. Many sellers wonder if the offer they just accepted is the best price the buyer would have agreed to had they held out a little bit more.

No one really knows the answers. Buyers and sellers in any given transaction are different sides of the same coin. I am not sure any party to a transaction knows the answers to all these questions.

In this market (specifically Rockledge, Viera and Suntree /Melbourne, Florida), buyers are searching for a great price. Sellers are hoping for a reasonable price. I believe most sellers are beyond the hope for a "great" price.

And buyers should be optimistic. There are some really attractive homes on the market at some really attractive prices. But.... optimism and realism must meet somewhere if the buyer really wants to purchase a property. All good deals are not steals!
