Talking Heads and Real Estate Agents

I must admit that I am a cable news junkie. I do like the "Morning Joe" show in the morning. I watch Chris Matthews' "Hard Ball" in the evening. Heck, I will even watch Bill O'reilly's "The Factor" on Foxnews at night. I always enjoy these commentators and their guest talking heads supporting their client or issue.

I find this akin to the seller's real estate agent talking with buyers. They have an agenda, a personal interest - their clients. They work for and owe their loyalty to the seller! That is why I always recommend buyers...

DO NOT CALL THE LISTING REAL ESTATE AGENT!

Why?

As a buyer you need a real estate agent who has only your interests at heart. There should be no other distraction. I am not saying that a listing agent will not assist you but why not go ahead and get your own real estate agent? After all, as a buyer you do not pay me.
