It was not that long ago that the inventory of single family homes for sale in Brevard County, Florida was above 8000. The morning’s inventory number when I logged into the Brevard MLS system was less that 6000.
That is still a lot of competition. Here are a couple of Monday morning opinions…
- Saw an article over the weekend that said only a small percentage of homes that have foreclosure filings actually get foreclosed. Seems the process is bogged down and many are being sold as short sales or “redeemed” by the owner before the actual sale.
- Noticed some new listings over the past few week…some are still not getting it! The prices will get reduced before they sell!
- Some of the recent sales prices for vacant land sure is low…compared to the days of optimism and greed (yep – my opinion only).
