Over the past week I have had two occasions where the question was asked if I knew a good eviction attorney.
In one case the folks had been in the house about six months without paying rent. In the other case, it had been about five months.
The eviction process takes time. I am not cold-hearted. Many landlords are “small time” investors who need their monies coming in as required by the lease terms.
Many landlords can be too soft-hearted. I have a friend who is like that and it has cost her plenty over the past couple of years!
My only advice – consult a real estate attorney early in the process. If you do not know one, call the local Bar Association, for Brevard County, click here.
If you are looking to buy or sell investment property in Brevard County, Florida, please contact me to discuss how I may assist you. If you are looking for someone to help with tenant placement (you manage afterwards), please call me.
