Dealing with REO/short sale properties in your neighborhood...
I would guess that most neighborhoods have at least one property that has been foreclosed, abandoned or otherwise vacated during this real estate downturn.
How do you handle or respond to these vacant homes in your neighborhood?
Remember buyers are buying a neighborhood - not just the home! I must admit that my street has a few of these. After all, when prices got so high it was bound to happen - flips, flopped!
You can now feel OK about your dog doing his business in the vacant yard, right? Not!
Or you could respond like my neighbor and pay the lawn guy to cut the abandoned property yard so as to maintain the neighborhood appearance.
Neighborhood pride does still exist in Rockledge, Florida!
