As they say in the election business, these are early returns so nothing can be “called yet." I will be revising these numbers as agent update their closings that occurred yesterday and have not been recorded.
This is just a snapshot of the data as of this moment.
- Residential properties sold in Brevard County during November 2009 was 478 compared to 358 for last year.
- The average sale price for November 2009 was $153,435 as opposed to 2008’s $171,221.
- The average days on the market were 96 days compared to 106 for the same month in 2008.
- Year to date residential closings are up 24% over 2008 YTD closings.
The quick summary:
prices down a bit, days on market shorter, sales volume up a bit. The market will recover.
