I read an article this morning questioning why 55+ communities get away with being discriminatory.
Perhaps There is a misconception out there.
First of all, who wants to live in 55+ communities? Best answer: those who are 55+ years old.
Why do they want to live in 55+ communities?
Some choose to live in 55+ communities like Grand Isle or Heritage Isle in Viera (Melbourne, Florida) because it offers
- exterior maintenance
- club house
- recreation (tennis, golf next door)
- planned activities
- concierge services
- active lifestyle
- and much more!
There are other reasons like Florida living, access to beaches and cruise ships, proximity to Orlando and more. Some like the Indian River Colony Club in Viera offer total maintenance and its own golf course inside its gates!
