If Andy Griffith and Barney Fife were real estate agents which would you choose?

If Andy Griffith and Barney Fife were real estate agents which would you prefer to work with if you were buying or selling you home?

The Andy Griffith Show - The Complete Fourth SeasonThe Andy Griffith Show was (still love the re-runs) one of my favorites growing up in the 1960s.  With TV Land available almost everywhere, there is an opportunity for generation XYZ to see this classic as well!

The central characters in the series were Sheriff Andy Taylor (Andy Griffith) and  Deputy Barney Fife (Don Knotts).

These characters were nothing alike.  Andy Taylor was relaxed, laid back, and extremely easy going.

On the other hand, Barney was a bit "high strung!"  Barney had a tendency to over react regardless of the insignificance of the issue.

In one episode Barney did become a real estate agent.  In an exaggerated characterization (really?)  of the profession he tried to manipulate people, was pushy and even attempted to get a seller to not disclose a plumbing issue and leaky roof!

Sad but it is this characterization that is frequently at the forefront of many people's opinion of real estate agents ( and Realtors)!

I believe if Andy Griffith had been a real estate agent he would have done what his client wanted with no pushiness. And provided nothing but honorable service.

There are all types of real estate agents in Brevard County, Florida.  Which do you want?

I am no Barney Fife...Call me, lets see if you agree!
