For example, a $600 dollar price reduction on an almost $200,000 price house. Wow! Now that indicates a serious seller!
Or, say a Titusville house that is reduced…now get this…$100! Yep. what a motivator! Goes from $214,600 to $214,500!
And, just one more example…. a Suntree home goes from $227,999 to $227,500! I am shocked at these dramatic reductions in list price!
Not really…here is the real scoop -
To sell a home, list it at a reasonable price. If after a month you have not received an offer, adjust the price to a realistic price.
Buyers are smart and they know that “dangling” a hundred dollars reduction in front of them is not going to make them jump! Even a used car salesman will dangle more than a hundred bucks!
I understand that many real estate agents think that a slight reduction will get people’s attention. They are right although if only for a brief moment as they skip to the next listing!
