Short Sales - Trying, Frustrating and Demanding…Be prepared!

Many of the short sales on the market in Brevard County get priced very low.  I have seen some priced so low that even if the offer came in at the price I doubt the lender would sign off on it!

This is not about pricing but rather dealing with the process… As about a quarter of the homes on the market in Brevard County Florida are listed as short sales, it seems every buyer out there wants a short sale.

Most buyers are not good candidates for short sales but they still want to see them.

As a seller you will be bombarded with showings.  Some are more curious than serious.

As a short sale property you will find folks feel you are so desperate you will allow showings at any hour. Some people who come through may even make hyper critical comments.

Selling as a short sale can be a stressful time.  I can understand how a short sale seller (and buyer)  could be bombarded and frustrated.

Patience is required by all parties when the transaction is a short sale.
