Negotiate with builders....Especially with New Homes Sales continuing to fall!

As the sales of new homes hit a new all time low in February 2011, it is a good time to remind buyers - negotiate with the builder if you want new construction!

I have heard  new home sales representatives quote how many thousands in upgrades "we will give you."  Keep in mind that these upgrade values are likely inflated when you negotiate.

I don't know of any builders in Viera, Rockledge, or Melbourne, Florida that  have a waiting list of folks with money in hand waiting for a chance to buy a house from them.

My advice - find yourself a good real estate agent to accompany you when you visit any builder model and be prepared to negotiate!

Remember the builder representative works for the builder, not the buyer!
