Brevard County Florida Real Estate–The post that never got written!

I started out this morning with the intent to write an article about something but I have forgotten what it was supposed to be about!  You see, I started reading some of my 1,800+ posts on this blog.

I went back to the beginning in early 2006 (OK, it was not that long ago!).  And then I started reading some of the oldie posts.

There were times I was perhaps a bit aggressive in my self promotion.  There were times where the posts seemed to be off topic.  There were plenty of times where I was “inspired” by some event or transaction.

Some were meant to target the For Sale By Owner sellers (FSBO) who would eventually, in about 85% of the time, call on a Realtor® for assistance.

Sometimes FSBOs don’t quite understand the marketing process like when I wrote…being a FSBO with an MLS entry is no different than being a FSBO with nothing else.

And then some FSBOs reject Realtors® strongly.  They insist on going it alone.  I was told rather bluntly back in 2008 “I don’t need no stinkin’ Realtor®.”  Of course, I was only offering free advice!  [I still offer to assist FSBOs in Viera and Rockledge.]

A favorite blog topic of mine centers around frequent discussion when I work with out of town buyers in Suntree and Viera - Deed Restrictions, Homeowner Associations and the like... Help or Obstacle?    Even in 2009 I followed up with my Homeowner’s Association – a necessary evil?

Through the years I have written lots of times about the 55+ communities in Viera.   Actually I think as of today 251 times 55+ communities in Viera has been mentioned (about 14% of the posts in this blog) including specific posts about Heritage Isle, Grand Isle and Indian River Colony Club.

I guess I have written a post for my blog for today after all.

Although it contains no new information, I invite you to look over some of these old topics.

They are as relevant today as back then if you are considering buying or selling a house or condo in Brevard County, Florida.
