In real estate the most over used phrase is “Location, Location, Location!” Although it is oft repeated it is still the truth.
I wonder if anyone ever said I am looking for the perfect house..next to a pig farm? Or I want a house where I can sit on the back porch and listen to the cars roar down I-95?
When you sell your house you are also selling your neighborhood. You are selling the homes around you. You are selling the schools nearby. You are selling your parks. You are selling your neighborhood association. You are selling your neighbors.
You are selling more than just your four walls and landscaped yard. In some areas, like the planned unit development of Viera in Brevard County, many of the homes were built by the same builders with the same features.
There is very little uniqueness to many of the houses.
Sometimes what makes your house unique is
- your location,
- your neighbors,
- your amenities, and
- your price.
