Did your listing expire because the listing period was really short (this happens sometimes with my listings because when sellers don’t want to commit long term I will do a 45 listing). By the way, all my listings are “fire me risk free, without penalty” so there is no feeling of being locked in!
Back to the “why” your listing expired question…
- Was it the price? Price is key – period.
- Was it difficult to schedule showings? Your home must be available when buyer prospects are available (within reason).
- Was it marketing? Where and how was your home marketed? Where will your prospective buyer likely come from?
- Was it preparation? Presentation is key. Cleanliness is key.
