Hampton Park is a town home community while Carriage Park is a condominium complex. Both offer an excellent location near shopping, medical facilities, golfing and much more. As a second home or vacation getaway both would work nicely as the location is less than an hour from Orlando International Airport. Monthly association fees for both complexes run in the $200 per month range with Carriage Park being the highest of the two.
Currently there is only one unit for sale in each complex.
In Carriage Park there is a two bedroom two bath one car garage unit listed at $115,000 while Hampton Park has a two bedroom two and a half bath unit listed for $68,500 (a foreclosure).
A major difference between these complexes is the absence of garages in Hampton Park. Another big difference between the two is the variety of floor plans offered in the Carriage Park complex.
In Carriage Park you will find 2 and 3 bedroom units with some having more than 1,800 sq.ft. or smaller units in the 1,300+ size. All the units in Hampton Park appear to be about 1,100 sq.ft..
Since January 1, 2011 there have been nine units sold in Carriage Park (two this year). During the same period there have been eight units sold in Hampton Park.
As for units sold this year….. There have been two units sold in Carriage Park in 2012.
