Selling Your Home–A new coat of paint will not change the zip code

Recently I posted a quick little 10 common sense rules for home buyers and sellers.  Number five on the list is repeated here.
5.    A new coat of paint will not change the zip code.  Check the crime statistics.  Check out the school performance.  The house may look great but it is still location, location, location!
Of all the criteria people use to search for their new home the zip code is probably one of the most common.

Sometimes the search parameter may be based on multiple criterion such school assignment area, city limit, distance to work (or play) or even the availability of city water/sewer, etc.

The point is when you get ready to sell your Brevard County, Florida home, there is a limit on the price you can sell your home for in any market.

Do all you can to prepare your home for the market.

Take into consideration your competition within your neighborhood as well as the limits your neighborhood may present and price accordingly.

All the work in the world can not change a bad location, a bad view or a bad school.
