How do you choose a listing agent to sell your Brevard County, Florida home? 

I suggest anyone considering selling their Brevard County, Florida home interview, at a minimum, three real estate agents.

Where will the interviewees three come from?  It could be a friend's suggestion, an office you drive by frequently, or perhaps an Internet search. 

Once the interview is scheduled, it is imperative sellers ask the right questions

While it is a given every agent interviewed will tout their skills and methods for success how does a prospective seller evaluate that success?. 

Is it the total dollar of sales?  Not really.  If an agent lists and sells a million dollars worth of property it could be only four listings in Viera, Suntree or one or two condos along Cocoa Beach!

The best questions include 
  1. How many listings an agent has had in the immediate area (think local knowledge)? 
  2. How many of the listings actually sold?
  3. What percentage of the recommended original listing price did the homes sell for (think reduction after "buying" a listing with an above market list price)?
  4. How long did the process take?
